Aegis Aspire are an organisation dedicated to the management and facilitation of training programs for many of the country’s unemployed youth. They approached RDI Marketing to seek some assistance in increasing awareness of the training (most of which is supported via Government training financial support packages) to males and females aged between the ages of 18 and 24 years.
Many of the young men and women in our target age bracket were becoming increasingly disheartened through constant rejection at job interviews simply because they lacked the basic skills required to enter the workforce. They were also simply unaware of the availability of government backed training that would essentially provide them with a foot in the door.
RDI Marketing developed the “foot in the door” campaign. The campaign spoke of the difficulty for many of this younger ages group to penetrate the workforce with little or no formal training. The ad was designed to connect with the emotion of those moments and inspire them to seek training help that would greatly assist in opening employment doors. The ad was run in cinemas across Victoria as well as being posted on YouTube receiving a staggering 80,000+ hits in it’s first month.
